Strange as they just broke into the regular programming to report this. They said something along the lines that the Vatican has been in contact with 7, and have deals with 3 alien humanoid civilizations that have been visiting Earth. Some for thousands of years. The Vatican has already diplomatic relationships established with these races so it has been agreed upon to allow the Vatican to continue in this role, but now in a public manner. A new UN branch will be created for interstellar business which will be run out the Vatican. That these aliens have the same God we do. They are saying these are the major talking points, but the Pope will give more details in a historical speech on Easter.

Oh yeah. one of the most interesting points. They mentioned that the Vatican has documents that have just been recently translated that they obtained from the Great Library in Alexandria before it was destroyed that will shed light on some of the earliest history of alien/human interaction.
